VicNode is the Victorian arm of RDS which is an initiative of the Australian Government under the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS) The University of Queensland is the Lead Agent.

The University of Melbourne and Monash University are leading the project to establish VicNode on behalf of the Victorian Universities.
