Life Sciences (Genomics) Research Data Services

Project Overview

The Life Sciences project is lead by QCIF  to support Australian biologists and bioinformatics researchers by providing an integrated suite of genomics data and analysis services to maximize research impact.


Life Sciences at VicNode

VLCSI  and the Monash Bioinformatics Platform will be the coordinating bodies for Victorian activities on the project. Activities to be undertaken in Victoria include:

  • MyTardis deployment in support of genetic sequencers
  • Australian participants in the PCAWG pan-prostate study can access and analysis australian cancer genomics from the Genomics Virtual Lab
  • Create training materials and run training workshops for Victorian life sciences researchers
