Melbourne Genomics Health Alliance

Provision of storage for a range of genomic data made available for research use, which includes DNA sequencing (exome) data, patient related metadata, and outputs from diagnostic analysis and interpretation of patient sequences. It is estimated that for every patient, approximately 60GB of storage will required to store all the data defined. Hence, Melbourne Genomics estimates that over the next 3 years an allocation of between 30TB and 40TB will be required.
